On October 31, 2024, the partners of the LIFE ClimaMED project organized an important meeting with policymakers in Nicosia, Cyprus. During the meeting, the draft law developed by the Greek Ministry of Rural Development and Food was presented, featuring the adoption of the innovative real-time greenhouse gas measurement system, created by the project. The meeting aimed to achieve two key goals: first, to discuss the details of the Greek draft law and highlight its benefits, including incentives for farmers to adopt the system, and second, to support the Cypriot Ministry in developing a similar legislative framework tailored to the country’s unique legal and socioeconomic conditions.
