On November 19, 2024, the LIFE ClimaMED project brought together partners and stakeholders in Elche, Valencian Community, Spain, for an engaging networking event. The focus of the meeting was the mitigation of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in farming systems and the legislative proposals developed by the Greek Ministry of Rural Development and Food.

The event provided an excellent platform for Mediterranean representatives to exchange ideas, analyze legislative frameworks, and explore solutions tailored to their environmental and agricultural challenges. The Greek legislative proposals, which feature real-time GHG measurement systems and incentives for farmers, were presented as a model for discussion and adaptation.
